Senior Connection of Montgomery County, works to support our seniors with supportive programs and services. Our approach emphasizes equitable outcomes for our senior population especially for the right of self-advocacy, mobility, and healthy – wellbeing. We seek to build supportive community connections, which will foster resilience, advance equity and restore hope.

SCMC seeks to expand in the continuance of investing in bold, innovative programs and continue in helping older adults connect with their neighbors and communities. Your voluntary donation to SCMC, is a gift of hope for seniors who may feel forgotten and without options. For seniors struggling to meet their basic needs, your gift is a lifeline.

Senior Connection programs and services are no fee based. Therefore your donation is essential in order to keep the coordination of services going.

Bequests: Make a gift to support future work in your will or living trust which offers an estate tax charitable deduction.

Retirement Plan Assets: Use your tax deferred retirement plan to continue caring for our diverse communities.

Stock Gifts: There are many advantages to stock and securities gifts including avoiding capital gains tax when you give long-term appreciated securities to SCMC, receiving a charitable income tax deduction equal to the fair market value of the stock if it has been held for more than a year, and allowing SCMC to receive the full fair market value of the donated securities.

Charitable (Remainder) Trusts: Explore ways a life income gift can pay income to you or your chosen beneficiary for a term of years or for life and also provide future support for our programs.

Life Insurance: Naming SCMC in a life insurance policy that is no longer needed for family support or liquidity may be an excellent vehicle for a gift.
