Governance
The role of the Board of Directors of The Senior Connection is governance of the agency. The Board of Directors articulates and represents the organization's mission and goals to the community and is accountable to the community for the organization's activities and operations. The Board provides policy guidance and delegates the day-to-day management to the Executive Director and staff. As a governing board, it sets long and short-term goals; establishes policies (personnel, program and administrative); monitors and evaluates programs, services and staff functions; and ensures that the organization has the necessary financial resources to accomplish its mission.
